Regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network for the West Pomeranian Voivodeship
We co-create and develop the regional NAWA–EURAXESS network in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship—a network designed to establish institutions that provide support for PhD students, researchers, and their families arriving in Poland.
The core idea of the NAWA–EURAXESS Network programme is to build regional cooperation frameworks across voivodeships, connecting universities, research institutes, and other organizations that support foreign nationals. Through collaborative efforts, the network aims to create a welcoming and attractive environment for researchers and their families relocating to Poland.
A key element of the network’s operation is strengthening collaboration with public administration bodies, including voivodeship offices, to streamline the procedures for legalizing the stay of researchers and their relatives.
Projects implemented under the programme contribute to:
- increasing the number of Polish institutions in the European EURAXESS network,
- reinforcing long-term regional cooperation in science and higher education,
- enhancing the visibility of Polish research units in the international arena,
- promoting European initiatives that support research career development, such as the European Charter for Researchers and the EU Council Recommendations of 18 December 2023 on attracting and retaining talent in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The project “Regional NAWA–EURAXESS Network for the West Pomeranian Voivodeship” (EURAXESS4WPV) is funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the 2024 call for the NAWA–EURAXESS Network programme.
