Personal Data Protection Notice

Pursuant to Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR), we hereby inform you that:
1. The Controller of your personal data is the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (hereinafter: ZUT), with its registered office in Szczecin (70-310), at al. Piastów 17.
2. The Data Protection Officer at ZUT, responsible for overseeing the proper processing of personal data, is Mr. Artur Kurek, who may be contacted via email at: IOD.kurek@zut.edu.pl .
3. Personal data provided to the Controller via the website of the International Relations Office of ZUT (hereinafter: DWM ZUT), available at international.zut.edu.pl (hereinafter: the Website), will be processed for the following purposes: 
a. recruitment of participants and enabling participation in events organized or co-organized by DWM ZUT – based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), the necessity of performing agreed activities (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and the legitimate interests of the Controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR),
b. distribution of newsletters related to the activities of DWM ZUT and its partners – based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) and the necessity of performing agreed activities (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), depending on the scope of consent granted.
The types of personal data provided to the Controller are specified in the registration form for a new user account on the Website and the newsletter subscription form, both developed by the Controller.
4. Providing the aforementioned data is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected.
5. The processing of the aforementioned personal data will be entrusted to the Website administrator, which is Dige Spółka z o.o., with its registered office in Szczecin (71-602), at ul. Storrady – Świętosławy 1B/311.
6. The aforementioned personal data processed for the purposes referred to in point 3.a above may be transferred to the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) in connection with the implementation by DWM ZUT of the MSCA4WP and EURAXESS4WPV projects under the “NAWA-MSCA Network” and “NAWA-EURAXESS Network” programs, as well as to partners of the West Pomeranian NAWA-EURAXESS Network or foreign institutions that are part of the EUNICoast alliance, of which ZUT is also a member.
7. The aforementioned personal data will not be transferred to other external entities except in cases provided for by law, including in connection with audits of the activities of ZUT or DWM ZUT.
8. The aforementioned personal data will be stored for the period necessary to achieve the stated purposes and to fulfill the rights and obligations of the Controller (within the scope of the Controller’s legitimate interests), but no longer than until the date of submission of a statement withdrawing consent for data processing (conditionally – in the case of recruitment and participation in events; unconditionally – in the case of newsletter subscription). Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to the receipt of the withdrawal statement.
9. You have the right to access your personal data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing, transfer it, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
10. If you believe that the processing of your personal data by the Controller violates the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
