Privacy Policy

Personal data provided by the User via the website of the International Relations Office of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (hereinafter: DWM ZUT) at international.zut.edu.pl (hereinafter: the Website) will not be processed in an automated manner, including profiling. However, the Website uses cookies, applying appropriate organizational and technical measures in accordance with applicable legal regulations, including encrypted connections via SSL certificate.

Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, stored on the User’s end device (computer, phone, etc.) and intended for use on the Website. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they originate from, the duration of storage on the end device, and a unique identifier. These files do not alter the settings of the User’s device, nor do they have any legal effect on the User. The entity placing cookies on the User’s device and accessing them is the Website administrator, Dige Sp. z o.o., based in Szczecin (71-602), ul. Storrady – Świętosławy 1B/311.

Cookies are used for the following purposes:
1.    Optimizing the User’s experience on the Website, particularly by recognizing the User’s device and displaying the website in a format tailored to their individual needs (mobile or full version);
2.    Maintaining the User’s session (after logging in), so that login credentials do not need to be re-entered on each subpage;
3.    Creating statistics for the Website owner to understand how Users interact with the Website, which helps improve its structure and content.

Additionally, DWM ZUT employees, by signing individual confidentiality clauses, have committed to keeping confidential all sensitive information received from DWM ZUT clients in any form, from the date of receipt until three years after the termination or expiration of their employment contract with ZUT. This means they are prohibited from disclosing such information to third parties, except for publicly available data, information obtained independently from other sources, data disclosed with the written consent of the DWM ZUT client, or when disclosure is required by applicable law.
This obligation does not prevent the sharing of such information with other DWM ZUT employees or subcontractors, provided these individuals are informed of the confidential nature of the information and are bound to maintain confidentiality.
