Regulations for Recruitment and Participation in Events Organized by the International Relations Office of ZUT
Regulations for recruitment and participation in events organized by the International Relations Office of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (hereinafter: DWM ZUT)
1. The term “event” refers to training sessions, seminars, expert consultations, workshops, conferences, information meetings, etc.
2. Participant recruitment is conducted via the DWM ZUT website at international.zut.edu.pl (hereinafter: the Website) or another address indicated by DWM ZUT.
3. DWM ZUT allows participation in recruitment via email submission to iro@zut.edu.pl only in the event of a Website malfunction.
4. Anyone interested in participating in an event must register through an individual user account on the Website.
5. Applications are accepted by DWM ZUT staff in the order they are received (unless other recruitment criteria are specified on the event’s page on the Website) and confirmed via a separate email message.
6. If an application (user account) lacks required information or contains obvious errors, DWM ZUT staff will notify the applicant via email. From the moment the email is sent, the applicant has 48 hours to complete or correct the application. During this time, one spot will be reserved for the applicant in case the recruitment criteria are met after the correction. Failure to comply will result in the application being deemed non-compliant with recruitment criteria.
7. Applicants whose submissions have been accepted must inform DWM ZUT of any withdrawal from participation no later than one working day before the event.
8. DWM ZUT reserves the right to reject applications from individuals who have failed to comply with the obligation described in point 7 of these regulations at least twice within the 12 months preceding the date of the event in question.
9. For online events, DWM ZUT is not responsible for the technical quality of the connection and transmission, which depends on third-party tools (e.g., communication platforms, the participant’s internet connection) and their current load, and is therefore beyond the control of DWM ZUT.
10. Participants acknowledge and agree to refrain from using any copyrighted training materials (e.g., presentations, case studies) for commercial purposes, and in the case of online events, also agree not to record the event transmission for such purposes.
11. Participants consent to the use of photos and video materials from the event that include their image for purposes related to the activities of DWM ZUT.
12. By registering for an event, the applicant declares that all data provided during the creation of a new user account on the Website is accurate and consents to the processing of personal data by ZUT for the purpose of participating in the recruitment process for DWM ZUT events.
13. Personal data provided during the registration of a new user account on the Website will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of April 27, 2016.
